Terms of Use for BearFolk Kountry.com

Please understand that the "Terms of Use" are provided for both your protection and mine. They are written to clarify the terms under which the images contained within this site may be used. These terms are legally binding and BearFolk Kountry reserves the right, at my discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these terms at any time. Continued use of the BearFolk Kountry Adoptions following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes. It is YOUR responsibility to keep up with a sites given terms when you adopt from a site.

• 1. In order to Adopt, you must have a web site and you must have a no right click script, no image bar script and no drag script in proper working order on your site. If you need these codes, please let me know and I will be happy to provide a link so that you can get them.

• 2. Do not claim these graphics as your own! You must always give proper credit to the Original Artists. That means Credit on the same Page and respecting their T.O.U.'s also.  Should you choose to adopt from my shop, you must provide a link back to my site www.bearfolk.com AND the Artists who created the graphic on each and every page that you place the adoptions. A matching certificate/logo is always provided with each adoption and must be linked to BearFolk Kountry. A text link to the Artists should be placed below each certificate/logo. A text file will be included when the adoption is sent to you that will contain both needed links. A page of "credits" is not acceptable. Please refer your links to: http://www.bearkountry.com  Use only this direct link, no deep linking allowed as pages are changed frequently. Using the certificate/logo and link is part of the copyright.

• 3. You may NOT alter the Adoptions in any way. PERIOD. This includes but is not limited to: adding text, adding other graphics, changing colors, changing sizes, colorize, resize or modify. You may not alter the height & width tag to make the image appear smaller or larger. You may NOT turn these images into tubes, awards or banners. You may NOT use the Adoptions to make sig tags, Outlook express stationary, Incredimail stationary, in Incredmail or e-mail in any way. PERIOD.

• 4. Your Site MUST be family friendly. Please refrain from using my Adoptions within pages promoting child abuse, hate, bigotry, racism, animal abuse religious intolerance and/or illegal pornographic activities. You may only use my adoptions on a family friendly site. Only G rated material. Also, there must be no links to anything but G rated material on your site. I will check!!!

• 5. These Adoptions are to be used on NON-Profit Sites. No images are to be redistributed for financial gain or placed within any compilation CD, software or other reproducible media. Any site whose intent is to earn revenue (whether actual income and or bartered for trade) is considered a commercial endeavor. The adoption graphics are for not-for-profit (i.e. personal) web pages only.

• 6. Do not under any circumstances direct link to ANY of the graphics or adoptions found within BearFolk Kountry. Please load the images to your own server or web site directory. Direct linking is bandwidth theft and is prohibited!

• 7. If for any reason I request that the Adoptions from BearFolk Kountry be removed from your site, you will be given 72 hours to comply. Violations of the terms of use could subject you to this request.

• 8. You may not offer these adoptables from your site. Do not use the Adoptions in any e-groups, forums, message boards or email.

• 9. By using my graphics you bind yourself to these terms of service whether you read them or not. Period.

• 10. **Reminder - show respect!  Thank me when I send your adoptions. I usually have adoptions out within 24 hours, but, sometimes it may take me up to 2 days. Please understand and be considerate, I do have a life outside my shop. If you need an adoption by a certain date, please state that when ordering. I will do everything in my power to help you out. So that I know that you have read them, Take the five words underlined on this page and place them in your e-mail when you request an Adoption. If you do not hear back from me within a week, feel free to contact me so that I may look into the matter.
